Crystal Welding didn’t start in a boardroom—it started in a double garage in Crystal, Minnesota. In 1968, Joe Rauch was a truck mechanic who needed to support his family. He placed a simple ad in the local paper for trailer hitches and wiring, and when his old boss eventually called to offer his old job back, Joe said “no”. He bet on his dream instead.
For over 50 years, that dream has been a family-owned reality. Joe’s daughters, Lisa and Michelle, grew up in the shop, eventually taking the reins and building the business into what it is today: a woman-owned, multi-generational pillar of the community.
We’ve grown from a backyard garage into a full-scale fabrication and repair center, but our handshake-deal values haven’t changed. Whether you are a first-time trailer owner or a contractor with a fleet of trucks, we treat you like family—providing honest, technical person-to-person expertise.
